EARTH IN JEOPARDY
I have previously commented on the effect of global warming and the human population explosion, both of which will have grave consequences for our continued survival. The population explosion is partially responsible for our current global financial dilemma. There is an imbalance between the amount of people on earth and the resources to sustain a reasonable level of distribution.
However there are other catastrophic occurrences that can cause massive loss of life and destruction of property and some of them are:
EARTHQUAKES caused by shifting earth plates that float on the molten earth magma. They have the potential to cause massive loss of life and destruction of property. They can cause tsunamies which also have powerful destructive potential.
Then there are volcanoes which not only are capable of mass destruction of property but also cause death to living creatures including humans and to plant life.
However few of us are aware that the gases spewed from volcanic activity have the potential to accelerate the distribution of carbon dioxide in particular, which has the potential to destroy all life on earth. I know that this probability is too ghastly to contemplate but it is a distinct possibility.
However in the mean time let us unite in decreasing our carbon footprints and plant trees and other vegetation that absorbs carbon dioxide and emits oxygen. Yes carbon dioxide is essential to our existence and the existence of vegetation but we must not upset the balance that nature provided.
GO WELL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS
